I am a personal fan of EFT, and some of our Mind-Body Medicine alums incorporate it into their practices. It's not a part of our Mind-Body trainings-- but like so many other great techniques, complements the skills and small group model we teach at the Center. As Dr. Gordon, our founder & director says, self-care isn't alternative, it's fundamental. I like that self-care techniques such as meditation and EFT are empowering, as you say, Alex.

I love the idea of channelling my inner third grader!

BTW a quick and easy way to help both 3rd graders and adults over small traumas and large is to use the mind-body technique of EFT. I wonder if you have evaluated it? One of the benefits is that it empowers those it helps.

:-)
