The Center for Mind-Body Medicine

Greetings from James S. Gordon, MD, Founder & Director

The Center’s model of mind-body medicine is used around the world in hospitals, medical schools, private practices and community clinics to reduce stress, improve mood and prevent and treat chronic illness. The Center’s pioneering small group model has proved to be remarkably effective in healing psychological trauma in whole populations. Read about our program in New Orleans, our hopes for helping trauma healing in Iowa, and our faculty member Stephanie Whiting’s use of our model in a jail in Wisconsin. Enjoy!

Dr. Gordon’s new book Unstuck: Your Guide to the Seven Stage Journey Out of Depression shows how you can use the Center’s model on your own to heal yourself. To read more about the book, click here.
