Senior International Program Manager

CMBM is establishing a one-year trauma-relief program in Ukraine and is seeking a Senior International Program Manager to manage the development and implementation of this program, working both remotely and on site in Kyiv and perhaps other combat-free regions of Ukraine. The Senior International Program Manager is responsible for overseeing the program from planning and design to implementation. Working closely with community partners, this role will be responsible for coordinating the overall scope of the program as well as overseeing the day-to-day details. This person should be detail-oriented and possess a high level of organizational skill and leadership, while also focusing on building relationships in complex settings.

This role will report to the Founder and CEO and will be closely working with the Clinical Director and will collaborate with other Program Managers, Project Managers, and Project Coordinators. CMBM is a collaborative work environment, so this role will be in communication with the rest of CMBM’s departments as well.

Position Responsibilities

  • Partnership strategy
    • Collaborate with partners on needs specific to the program (their needs and ours)
    • Work with partners, mind-body medicine training participants, and funders to engage community members in program roll out
    • Create and cultivate relationships with current and future key collaborators to assure program continuity
  • Oversee program deliverable timelines and priorities
    • Set, communicate, and maintain implementation timelines and priorities
    • Guide operational and administrative functions to ensure the program is delivered efficiently
    • Work with the finance department to monitor program budget and expenses
  • Evaluate program outcomes
    • Monitor and report program activity status and challenges to the internal team
    • Oversee the creation and development of methodology to standardize assessment and evaluation of participants, in collaboration with the clinical team
    • Gauge the overall outcome and impact of the program and prepare reports on findings and recommendations for improvement on an ongoing basis
    • Implement changes and interventions to ensure program goals are achieved
  • Communication between all parties
    • Establish and maintain regular communication for efficient and effective flow of information to and among program staff, faculty, management, and partners
    • Set plan/expectations for working with clinical team, other program staff, and other departments

Qualifications and Competencies

  • At least five years of program management and partnership development experience
  • International community development experience preferred
  • Self-motivated, self-managing problem-solver with the capacity to successfully work on multiple projects simultaneously
  • Ability to work independently while coordinating work efforts with multiple parties
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and diplomacy when handling sensitive information
  • Experience working with executive-level leaders
  • Good writing and editing skills
  • Experience working with online meeting platforms (ex: Zoom) and learning management systems preferred
  • Full fluency in Microsoft Office products and G Suite applications
  • Bachelor’s degree or higher preferred

Location, Time, and Travel Requirements

  • Travel is required for this role; significant time will be spent in Ukraine
  • When not traveling, this role can work remotely and will be available to work full-time between the hours of 9-5 EST with flexibility to accommodate occasional scheduling changes outside of those hours based on meetings or requirements with CMBM personnel who live and work in other time zones
  • Available to work during training programs, which are up to 5 days long, and may require evening and weekend hours; comp time is provided after trainings are completed

Compensation

This is a contract position and is contingent on the finalization of grant funding for this program. The compensation range for this role is $80,000 – $110,000 and will be commensurate with experience.
