Adair Look, MD is a psychiatrist in Sonoma County, California, where she lives with her husband, three kids, and many animals. Adair attended medical school at the North Carolina School of Medicine, Chapel Hill, and then completed her Adult Psychiatry training at the Harvard Program of Massachusetts General Hospital and McLean Hospital. Adair trained in the Harvard Eating Disorders Program and was the eating disorders specialist at Harvard University Health Services. She then moved to San Francisco and was on the faculty at California Pacific Medical Center residency program as well as the head of the women’s health program within the Department of Psychiatry. After moving to Sonoma County Adair expanded the scope of her practice to reflect the full range of approaches in modern psychiatry. She completed a year-long training in Mindfulness and Psychotherapy through The Institute for Meditation and Psychotherapy in Cambridge, MA and is a proud faculty member for the Center for Mind-Body Medicine. Adair sees patients and runs Mind-Body Skills Groups in her private practice as well as in the local health clinic.
