Anjali Goel, MD MPH FAAP St Paul, MN, USA
Dr. Anjali Goel is a Med/Peds trained physician from the University of Minnesota. She practiced primary care for 10 years and then went on to pursue advanced training in Developmental-Behavioral Pediatrics. She is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Pediatrics at MHealth Fairview (University of Minnesota), Section Head for Developmental-Behavioral Pediatrics as well as the Course Director for the Pediatrics Residents. Anjali spends her time caring for children with a wide range of behavioral issues, mental health concerns, and developmental disorders. She takes a Mind-Body Family-Centered approach to care. Anjali is passionate about faculty development on issues of Racism and Health Equity.
Dr. Goel is faculty at the Center for Mind-Body Medicine. She has been providing Mind-Body Skills groups for teachers in the Saint Paul Public Schools for the last several years and working with the Center’s Broward program. She finds ways to incorporate the training into all aspects of her work.
Dr. Goel understands being well takes work and some days it takes more work than others. Her goal is to show up and be present whether at work, with patients and colleagues, or with friends and family. She attempts to practice what she teaches and acknowledges the imperfection in that and the utmost importance of self-compassion in day-to-day life. She loves cooking and exploring with her husband and 4 children
