Father Robert Lyons, M.Div., BCC, CPES serves as Manager of the Eskenazi Health Center for Spiritual Care & Education in Indianapolis, Indiana, where he has been on staff since 2000. He splits his time between departmental leadership, direct patient care, and supervision of the hospital’s Clinical Pastoral Education program (into which he has integrated Mind-Body Medicine education). Eskenazi Health is the public hospital serving the Indianapolis Metropolitan area, providing general services as well as Level I Trauma and Burn care for the region. He sees the framework provided by Mind-Body Medicine as a means of entering into sacred places along the way, developing a fuller understanding of self, developing resilience, and experiencing liberation from the shackles of the past.
Father Rob lives south of Indianapolis with his wife, Kristen, and three children. In his spare time he enjoys science fiction (especially Star Trek), backpacking, nature photography, and scale modeling.
