Laurie Kalter, MPA, has worked in the health field for more than 40 years and for the University of California, San Francisco for the past 23 years. She is certified in Mind-Body Medicine through the Center for Mind Body Medicine in Washington, D.C. Laurie recently retired as a Program Manager at the SF Veteran’s Health Care Administration, where for the last two years she led Mind-Body Medicine groups for faculty, staff and veterans and coordinated the Mind-Body Program for the SFVA. She has also led a Mind-Body group for the UCSF Osher Center for Integrative Medicine’s Communitas program for parents of chronically ill children. Laurie received her BA in Psychology from the State University of New York at Buffalo and her Masters in Public Administration with a health care concentration from the University of New Mexico. She is adept at working with a diverse group of adults and is passionate about leading mind-body medicine groups. Laurie has many years of experience as a practitioner of wholistic healing modalities and uses her intuition and compassion for effective outcomes.
