Lori Lombardo, LCSW, is a clinical social worker who currently provides integrative psychotherapy and wellness services to Veterans at the VA Medical Center in Houston, TX. For over 15 years, she has specialized in treating trauma, addiction, and serious mental illness, in a variety of settings including 3 VA Medical Centers. Lori is trained in multiple evidence-based treatment modalities including Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Compassion Focused Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction, and Positive Psychology. Beginning in 2017, she started facilitating mind-body skills groups for Veterans impacted by Hurricane Harvey following trainings through The Center for Mind Body Medicine’s partnership with the Greater Houston Healing Collaborative. Since that time, Lori has facilitated continuous mind-body skills groups for Veterans and has incorporated them into individual psychotherapy and health coaching sessions. She is also a trained VA Whole Health Provider and Education Coordinator, and Lori finds Whole Health aligns beautifully with mind-body skills. As the daughter, partner, and friend of Veterans, she is honored to serve Veterans and is passionate about continuing to offer them mind-body healing.
