Dr. Tom Hudson was born and raised in the Washington, D.C. area. He attended medical school at the University of Maryland in Baltimore, and completed a diagnostic radiology residency at Walter Reed Army Medical Center in Washington, D.C. After his time in the Army, which included a tour in Germany, Dr. Hudson resettled with his family in Naples, FL, where he served as the Director of Women´s Imaging at the Naples Diagnostic Imaging Centers between 1992 and 2005.He is presently on staff as a breast imaging specialist at the Women´s Center for Radiology(WCR) in Orlando, FL. He maintains a home in Naples, commuting weekly to his work in Orlando. Dr. Hudson authored Journey to Hope, on the subject of self-care and prevention as they relate to breast cancer. He leads mind-body skills groups at WCR in the evenings, as well as counsels patients on matters of overall health and wellness, including how the mind-body connection impacts the cancer journey.
