The New Frontier of Healthcare:
Medical Cannabis & CBD
Presented by Laura Lagano MS, RD, CDN
November 15, 2018
12:00 pm EST / 9:00 am PST
About This Webinar
Medical marijuana has been legalized in more than half the US. Ten states are expected to sanction adult use cannabis by 2019 and Canada recently approved cannabis across the country. Consumers have questions about the plant — how it works, what are the delivery formats, and what are it’s health applications. Learn how cannabis can be integrated with other holistic modalities to optimize health and wellness.
This webinar presented by Integrative Clinical Nutritionist, Laura Lagano MS RDN and is the third in a series of Food As Medicine webinars presented by the Center for Mind-Body Medicine and hosted by leading nutrition author, speaker and integrative nutritionist Kathie Madonna Swift, MS, RDN, LDN.
During this webinar, you will learn:
- Review fundamental cannabis terminology
- Discuss the endocannabinoid system + endocannabinoids
- Classify cannabis formats + delivery systems
- Explore the integration of cannabis with other holistic modalities
