I guess you would call me a “traditional” dietitian. Our hospital hired a physician whose focus is integrative medicine and she was scheduled to come to this conference. Unfortunately for her, but fortunately for me, she could not make it and I was sent instead. I always thought of food as medicine but not in the sense of what I learned over these past few days. I have learned so much but as Jim said—don’t expect to get it all. I look forward to continuing on this journey of integrative medicine.
