A study of health professionals 3 months after the training showed a significant decrease in burnout, and an increase in the following health promoting lifestyles/behaviors: nutrition, spiritual growth, interpersonal relations, and health responsibility. Stress management and friendliness were significantly improved after the training, with gains maintained at 3 month follow-up. Qualitative results at follow-up showed that participants were using the tools both personally and professionally, that they placed a higher priority on self-care, and that they had more balance in their lives.
