Andrew Leone, MA

Senior International Programs Manager | he/him

Andrew Leone, MA is the Senior International Program Manager. He brings decades of experience in organizing and managing domestic and international relief efforts, program management, grants management, and communications. He has an in-depth understanding of the CMBM model, having previously been a beneficiary of CMBM’s programs in Broward County, and later implementing it system-wide. 

Andrew previously served as Director of Communications and Community Engagement for the Children’s Services Council of Broward County, a $100 million per-year grant-making government agency. For over 15 years, he managed contracts on prosperity and hunger relief related initiatives; COVID-19 emergency efforts;  supporting children of immigrant families; responsible fatherhood; child abuse prevention; vaccine anti-hesitancy campaigns; racial disparities in infant mortality; and the Broward Haiti Relief Taskforce, where he traveled to Haiti after the 2010 earthquake, vetting local NGOs applying for US-based resources.

Andrew earned his BA in Political Science from Binghamton University and his MA in Latin American Studies and a Graduate Certificate in International Affairs from Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México. Among his passions, Andrew enjoys learning about and delving into the breadth of global cultures through traveling, reading, cooking, and the arts.
