Marie Michaelle (Mickey) Valbrun-Pope is, first and foremost, a public servant and wellness advocate. Her service to the local and international community plays out in many forms, including serving on advisory boards and as a community volunteer. She is a certified mind-body medicine skills facilitator through The Center for Mind-Body Medicine, supporting individual and group healing. Mickey is a certified educational trainer with expertise in the areas of diversity, equity and inclusion, racial justice, restorative practices, social emotional learning, educational leadership, and trauma informed care. She has a passion for serving underserved and marginalized communities and has spent her entire career advocating and working on behalf of children and families.
