Clark County Educator Workshop
In the wake of the COVID-19 pandemic, students have experienced more fear, isolation, stress, and anxiety than ever before. Many schools are at a tipping point, with students struggling to regulate their emotions. As part of Nevada State-Wide, our 18-month school and community wellness program, we are hosting a 2-day workshop for educators in Clark Country to address this need. The workshop will teach mind-body medicine techniques to combat stress and build resiliency. Our aim is to provide tools that educators can bring back to their schools to help students of any age.
What will you learn?
This 2-day workshop will provide educators with an overview of how to help students cope with stress and anxiety through the use of mind-body medicine techniques.

- Techniques for redirecting challenging behaviors and empowering students to self-regulate in stressful situations to improve classroom management
- Evidence-based mind-body medicine techniques for self-care and undoing the impacts of toxic stress
- Ways to accelerate students’ social emotional development and build their capacity for rigorous academic achievement
- Skills to remove students’ barriers to learning and strengthen your skills for healing along with students so they can achieve their highest academic potential
