Kelly McFadden is a certified, trauma-informed yoga and meditation instructor serving the Castle Rock and greater Denver Metro area in person, as well as clients nationwide via Zoom. With a background in Biocultural Anthropology and Integrative Therapeutic Practices, Kelly is currently pursuing certification as a Yoga Therapist and a Master’s Degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Naropa University, with a focus in Mindfulness-Based Transpersonal Counseling.
In addition to her work as a facilitator, Kelly is a freelance science and research writer for Mad in America, where she highlights emerging perspectives in mental health through a lens of critical psychology, lived experience, and social justice. As both a service user and provider, she brings a deeply embodied and relational approach to healing, and is passionate about decolonizing mental health care and de-pathologizing the human experience.
Guided by the belief that we are each our own best healer, Kelly is dedicated to bearing witness as others step into their most authentic and empowered selves. She is especially interested in the intersection of contemplative practice, trauma recovery, and collective well-being. With humility and openness, she invites others to join her on a shared journey of insight, acceptance, and transformation.
