This Friday, Dr. Mark Hyman will join Dr. James Gordon at 3PM ET for a conversation on The Food Fix: Reimagining American Eating from Soup to Nuts and Beyond”. 

Mark is a CMBM Board Member and longtime Faculty for our Food as Medicine trainings. He is a practicing family physician and an internationally recognized leader, speaker, educator, and advocate in the field of Functional Medicine. The founder and director of The UltraWellness Center, Mark is Head of Strategy and Innovation at the Cleveland Clinic Center for Functional Medicine, a thirteen-time New York Times bestselling author, and Board President for Clinical Affairs at The Institute for Functional Medicine.

Mark and Jim will explore why and how we must overhaul our food policy and healthcare systems to protect against food insecurity, and begin to reverse both the economic burden of chronic illness and the devastation of climate change. They will also discuss dietary strategies that can help us stay in biological and psychological balance during this time of COVID-19.
