Meeting the Challenges of Frontline Healthcare During the COVID-19 Pandemic

On Friday, November 20, Dr. Jim Gordon’s friend and colleague, Daniel Winkle, MD, joined him to discuss “Meeting the Challenges of Frontline Healthcare During the COVID-19 Pandemic.”

Dan is a physician certified in Mind-Body Medicine who is the Medical Director for Rehabilitation Services at the Alameda Health System in Northern California. Over the last nine months, he has created a program of mind-body skills and group support for his entire department of 50. None of the program’s 500 patients has contracted COVID-19.

Dan and Jim will be discussing the extreme stress experienced by frontline healthcare workers during the pandemic, and how he is using CMBM’s approach to help his colleagues find balance, stay healthy, and move more easily through this time of crisis. They’ll be addressing challenges as well as the striking benefits of Dan’s program, and they’ll be responding to questions about how to bring self-care and group support into the institutions where you work – educational, business, social welfare, first responder, as well as medical and healthcare.

This webinar is approximately 60 minutes in length.
