Luisa Palloni holds a master’s degree in Social Work from the University of Michigan and is a licensed independent clinical social worker in Washington, DC. Luisa comes to The Center for Mind-Body Medicine with a rich variety of experience working with children and families in under-resourced communities. She has a special interest in the impact of Adverse Childhood Experiences and chronic stress on the brain and believes in the critical need to address trauma and stress through evidence-based, trauma-informed practices. Luisa is also an advocate for developing strong relationships with others as a powerful tool to build resilience and support healing. She is thrilled to join the Center for Mind-Body Medicine, where she will support the center’s mission through her role as the Supervision and Online Groups Coordinator. Luisa resides in Washington, DC with her husband, two children, and English Labrador. She is committed to practicing her own self-care through running, yoga, baking, and going on outdoor adventures with her family.
