Dr. Afërdita Goçi is a member of the CMBM Faculty. Part of Kosovo’s national mental health program, Dr. Goçi is a member of the Kosovar Faculty for Mind-Body Medicine (MBM).
Dr. Goçi is a psychiatrist and resident mentor at the Child and Adolescent Mental Health Center at the University Clinical Center of Kosova. She is also a teaching assistant in Psychiatry at the University Medical School of Prishtina and a supervisor for clinical psychology. Dr. Goçi previously was a National Coordinator for Autism at the Ministry of Health and Chair of Resident Committee at the University Clinical Center’s Psychiatry Clinic. Dr. Goçi has taken part in numerous international research projects on adolescent identity led by researchers at University of Basel, Switzerland and molecular mechanisms of trauma with University of Wuerzburg, Germany. Dr. Goçi is trained in cognitive behavioral therapy and trauma therapy.
Dr. Goçihas earned her MD from the University of Prishtina Medical School and is currently a PhD candidate at the University of Prishtina.
