Clinical Psychologist | Certified Mind-Body Medicine Facilitator | CMBM Supervisor
I am Anita Sedighi, a Clinical Psychologist with a trauma-informed approach. I believe that meaningful healing begins when people feel safe, connected, and genuinely understood.
Throughout my professional journey, I have worked with children, adolescents, adults, families, refugees, and individuals whose lives have been affected by trauma, violence, migration, and prolonged adversity. These experiences have taught me that every person carries a unique story, and that supporting well-being means seeing the whole person rather than focusing only on symptoms.
Mind-Body Medicine has become an essential part of my work. I integrate the CMBM (Mind-Body Medicine) model into individual psychological counseling sessions, Mind-Body Skills Groups, and trauma-informed educational programs. I value this approach because it brings together scientific knowledge, the wisdom of the body, and the healing potential of safe relationships, self-awareness, and community.
Alongside my clinical, educational, and facilitation work, I serve as a CMBM Supervisor, supporting the training and professional development of new facilitators. I collaborate with organizations serving individuals and communities affected by trauma, migration, and chronic stress. Across all of my work, my goal is to create spaces where people can reconnect with themselves, strengthen their inner resources, and rediscover hope, resilience, and their capacity to move forward
