Carolyn is a Certified Mindfulness facilitator with the Center for Mind-Body Medicine (CMBM) and Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) through the University of California San Diego School of Medicine. ​

She provides Mind-Body Skills Groups and Wellness Workshops and Mindfulness Programs to in-person and online communities. As a faculty at Mindful Kids Miami™ she has instructed teachers, school faculty, professionals, and grad students on stress reduction and bringing mindfulness into their lives. Previously
Carolyn was the Broward County Public School District Team Lead for Social Emotional Learning and Mindfulness (6th largest school district in the U.S.). She is a​ National Board-Certified Teacher, and a SEL and Mindfulness Specialist.

As a mother/step mother of 4 and grandmother of 1 sweet cherub, she and her husband founded Insight Institute. They are dedicated to providing mindfulness throughout the world.

Insight Institute provides personalized training and consultation services for educational and workplace settings as well as ongoing courses on a variety of mindfulness, wellness, and resiliency topics. Their work is offered on a sliding scale to make it accessible to all especially marginalized communities.
