Dr. Cindy Hamilton is a member of the CMBM Faculty. She leads Professional and Advanced Training Programs in both English and Spanish. Dr. Hamilton is certified in Mind-Body Medicine.
Dr. Hamilton was a family physician at William Beaumont Army Medical Center, where she shared mind-body medicine techniques with traumatized soldiers and their families at Fort Bliss. She herself was in the US Army, and worked in Korea and around the United States for twenty years before serving as faculty at Texas Tech University – Health Sciences in El Paso.
Dr. Hamilton earned her DO at the University of Des Moines and completed her family medicine residency at Madigan Army Medical Center in Tacoma, Washington. Today, she lives in El Paso and volunteers at the Baptist Clinic, an indigent clinic, and her local Big Brother, Big Sister Program. Dr. Hamilton also serves as a summer camp physician for the Girl Scouts of the Desert Southwest.
