Donna La Chapelle is a member of the CMBM Faculty. She is certified in Mind-Body Medicine.
Donna is an Ojibwe-Dakota woman and an enrolled member of the White Earth Nation. Her passion for teaching and sharing all that she has learned from her elders guides her work at the Minnesota Indian Women’s Resource Center, where she facilitates an aftercare group for women in recovery. Donna combines her unique cultural lens that encompasses history, ceremony, song, and language with mind-body medicine approaches.
Donna studied Healing Arts and American Indian Studies at the University of Minnesota. She also holds a Certificate in Aboriginal Focused Oriented Therapy.
