Erica has been working with the refugee and immigrant population in Salt Lake City, Utah for around 9 years and specifically with Unaccompanied Refugee Minors and their foster families for around 7 years. She currently manages the Refugee Foster Care program at Catholic Community Services of Utah. She studied Cultural Anthropology and has focused her trainings and work since then on mental health, trauma, and social work.

Erica started trainings with the Center for Mind Body Medicine in January 2021 and has enjoyed facilitating Mind Body Skills groups with teenage refugees, their foster parents, and the staff who work with this population. She is open to working with other populations as well.

When she is not working and running groups, she enjoys spending time with her husband and baby girl, preferably outdoors.
