Jacqueline Touissant is a member of the CMBM Faculty in Haiti. She has led Mind-Body Skills Groups for over a decade.
Jacqueline is a counselor and trainer involved in community mobilizing projects in women’s and sexual health. She provides medical and psychological support to children and youths living with HIV with Doctors Without Borders and Hopital Communitaire de Furcy. Jacqueline also promotes safe sexual practices to community health agents, midwives, new mothers, and youths, and also works with victims of rape and abuse in a women’s rehabilitation center. Following the January 12th, 2010 earthquake, Jacqueline has conducted psycho-trauma sessions with teachers, leaders, youth, and project staff at Coalition Israelienne Pour le Trauma.
