Joanna Robertson, M.MFT, LMFT, LPC, is a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist and Licensed Professional Counselor in the state of Texas. She has her master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy. She currently works in a school-based program providing individual and group counseling to middle and high school students. Joanna has previous experience working with a broad range of clients from multiple settings. These include: schools, community clinics, crisis shelters, group work, telehealth, and private practice.

Joanna completed training and certification through CMBM after Hurricane Harvey hit Houston. Engaging in this work has been both personally and professionally transformative. She is grateful for these opportunities and enjoys facilitating in-person and online groups.

On a personal level, Joanna enjoys spending time with her husband and three fluffy cats. She enjoys blogging (, reading, yoga, and discovering new and delicious coffees.

Joanna is passionate about continuing to connect with others and walk with them on their journey to discover greater levels of self-awareness, growth, and healing.
