Josh Rosenthal is a member of the CMBM Board of Directors.
Over the past 35 years Josh Rosenthal has worked with senior management to provide in-depth expertise in organizational and leadership assessment, organization strategy, design and governance. Having developed his expertise in these areas by consulting with clients from numerous industries including many Fortune 100 global companies, closely-held, family controlled business and governmental organizations, Josh has focused on each client’s unique strategic imperatives and marketplace demands. Working closely with senior executives to attract, retain, and cultivate executive talent, Josh’s assignments have included organizational design, executive assessment, human capital practice strategies and implementation as well as senior executive teamwork and development.
Josh’s work is aimed at supporting senior executive leaders to create organizational systems that increase shareholder value, employee effectiveness, and the bottom-line through: coaching senior executives to improve their performance and execution in order to drive business results; providing transferable models and processes for building high performance leadership teams; translating business strategy into practical actionable and measurable behaviors and activities; building organizational systems and structures that are both flexible and sustainable; and assessing top talent in the service of building sustainable leadership pipelines throughout the
organization
Josh knows firsthand the world of building a business from the ground up- from concept to creation. As the Founder and past CEO of iQuest Analytics he co-invented and developed a unique text analytics software product for the purpose of advanced search, to include research and discovery within large volumes of organizational data. He raised capital, hired top talent to build to market and sell the iQuest product. Formally he was the Chief Operating Officer for Hästens Group, a luxury Swedish bed manufacturer, tasked with creating a high-performance culture and highly profitable business.
Josh brings together deep knowledge of the psychological foundations of behavior and organizational systems that result in real-time dynamic interventions that support the difficult yet necessary practice of organizational change leadership and processes.
Previously Josh was, a Principal in the Human Capital and Talent Management practices at Sibson & Company and a Leader in the Knowledge Management practice as well. An Associate Partner with Accenture (formerly Andersen Consulting), Josh was the Change Navigation leader for the Eastern US and a thought leader with the Organization and Change Strategy line of business. Prior to that, he was affiliated for eight years with the Levinson Institute, a leading firm in assessment, governance and leadership development and advisory services. He has attained an Ed.D. degree in Counseling Psychology from Boston University. His BS degree in Psychology and an Ed.M. degree in Counseling were both obtained from The American University.
Current and past clients include Mars, Pfizer, Kimberly-Clark Corporation, A.P. Moller-Maersk, IBM, Dabur India (pharmaceuticals), agencies of the US Federal Government, Marriott International and Novartis.
