Kathie Swift is a member of the CMBM Faculty. She served as the Educational Director of the Food as Medicine program, where she developed the Food as Medicine for Everyone program in partnership with Eskenazi Health. Kathie is certified in Mind-Body Medicine, is experienced in CMBM coursework, and leads Mind-Body Skills Groups.
Kathie is a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist and is the Co-founder of the Integrative and Functional Nutrition Academy, an online training program for healthcare professionals interested in functional nutrition. With over 40 years of experience as a clinical nutritionist, she works closely with patients to support their health and healing using nutrition and mind body medicine. She has worked in a variety of settings including lifestyle resorts, yoga centers and functional medicine clinics. Kathie is a dynamic educator and has presented at conferences around the globe.
Kathie earned her Master of Science in Nutrition (MSN) from Arizona State University and has completed advanced training in functional medicine. She is certified in Evidence-Based Qigong and has led qigong sessions in CMBM training programs. She is the author of two books on digestive health, The Inside Tract: Your Gut Guide to Great Digestive Health and The Swift Diet.
Kathie is an avid swimmer, enjoys hiking, traveling, and spending time with her 5 beautiful grandchildren and her dog, Dottie Rose.
