Katya Kievittt is the Project Manager of Supervision and Certification. She is deeply involved and committed to helping guide newly trained facilitators in leading Mind-Body Skills Groups in their community with CMBM supervision. She also provides support for candidates for Certification. Katya takes great pride in seeing Certified Practitioners sharing mind-body medicine with the world, and enjoys collaborating with the wonderful CMBM Staff, Supervision Team, and Faculty on ways to improve the Supervision and Certification programs.
Katya earned her BA in Psychology from George Washington University in 2012. After she completed her undergraduate degree, she had a year-long internship at CMBM that inspired her to pursue a career in healthcare with an emphasis on the mind-body connection. She went on to earn her MS in Physiology from Georgetown University in 2019, and now uses her knowledge and skills to support others in their journey to optimal mind-body health. Katya enjoys connecting with people from all walks of life, practicing self-care, enjoying nature, hiking on the weekends, exploring new cultures and cuisines, and spending time with her friends and family in Maine and DC.
