Lori Anderson is a Licensed Prevention Professional, Mental Health & Wellness Professional, TBRI Practitioner, and CMBM Certified Practitioner whose work centers on healing, safety, and reconnection. She specializes in supporting individuals whose lives have been shaped by trauma, chronic stress, grief, substance use, and prolonged adversity, with a focus on restoring regulation, resilience, and a sense of internal safety.
Lori facilitates Mind-Body Skills Groups using Center for Mind-Body Medicine (CMBM) practices, including soft-belly breathing, guided imagery, mindful movement, expressive drawing, grounding, and group reflection. These groups are designed to gently support nervous system regulation, increase body awareness, and help participants reconnect with their inner resources at their own pace—without pressure, judgment, or retraumatization.
Her groups are open to adults and are especially supportive for those with trauma histories, individuals in recovery, caregivers, educators, prevention professionals, and those navigating major life transitions. Lori is deeply mindful of how trauma shows up in the body and creates spaces where choice, consent, and emotional safety are prioritized.
Lori’s approach is relational, compassionate, and strengths-based. She believes healing is not linear and not rushed—and that the body holds wisdom when given the conditions to feel safe enough to speak. Her work invites participants to move toward healing with curiosity, patience, and self-compassion, one regulated breath at a time.
