Luisa Palloni is the Assistant Program Manager, Supervision & Certification. She arranges supervision for newly-trained Mind-Body Skills Groups facilitators. She records and tracks data on current and past groups, helps develop online resources for facilitators and supervisors, and supports facilitators as they navigate the process of organizing and running their groups.

Luisa is a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker in Washington, D.C. and is experienced in working with children and families. She previously worked as a school social worker and an early childhood mental health specialist in under-resourced communities. She also led trauma-informed professional development trainings and advocated for support systems for the social-emotional well-being of students. In these roles, she developed a special interest in the impact of adverse childhood experiences and chronic stress on the brain.

Luisa earned her BA in Psychology from Fairfield University and her MSW in Social Work with a focus on Interpersonal Practice with Children, Youth, and Families from the University of Michigan. She resides in Washington, D.C. with her husband, two children, and English Labrador. Luisa is committed to practicing her own self-care through running, yoga, baking, listening to audio books, and going on outdoor adventures with her family.
