Megan Priest Hider is a member of the CMBM Faculty and Supervision Team. She coordinates the Hoosier Heartland Healing Collaborative, a partnership between CMBM and Eskenazi Health. She is certified in Mind-Body Medicine and leads online Mind-Body Skills Groups and workshops.
Megan is the Mind-Body Program Supervisor for Eskenazi Health in Indianapolis, Indiana, where she has worked since 2015. She coordinates mind-body programming within the hospital system for employees and patients and the Hoosier Heartland Healing Collaborative, which serves the local community. Megan started her professional work in cardio-pulmonary rehabilitation followed by her role as the Wellness Coordinator for Sandra Eskenazi Mental Health Center, where she first experienced the powerful healing and community of mind-body medicine with CMBM. She has facilitated groups, workshops, and self-care sessions with healthcare staff and patients, teachers and staff from Indianapolis Public Schools, and other community members.
Megan earned her BA from Hanover College in Kinesiology and Integrative Physiology and her MS in Clinical Exercise Physiology from Ball State University. Megan feels a rooted passion in mind-body medicine and aims to navigate the world with the continuous learning and awareness the work can bring. She feels immense gratitude for mind-body medicine changing the trajectory of her career and life. She splits her time between Indianapolis and the suburbs of Chicago with her husband, David, and dog, Boba. In her leisure time, she loves spending time with her dog, friends, and family, enjoying nature, and laughing as much as possible.
