Omana Douce-McDermott is the Executive Assistant to James S. Gordon, MD, Founder and CEO of CMBM.
Omana’s fervent interest in applying mind-body techniques for global healing inspired her to join CMBM. Her dedication lies in aiding individuals coping with trauma or everyday stress to achieve vibrant and meaningful lives using these techniques. Originally from Haiti, Omana’s journey took her from New Jersey to Guyana, South America during her Peace Corps service, and later to New Orleans for her graduate studies before relocating to the D.C. area.
Omana earned her MPH from Tulane University School of Public Health and Tropical Medicine, specializing in International Health and Sustainable Development. In her free time, Omana spends time in nature, practices Reiki, meditates, explores mind-body-spirit healing techniques, listens to podcasts, and shares love wherever she can.
