Roxanne Smith is a member of the CMBM Faculty. She is certified in Mind-Body Medicine.
Roxanne is the Senior Training Manager at the Children’s Services Council of Broward County. Through her work, she helps local nonprofit organizations serving children and families improve their capacity to deliver on their mission. Both in her current position and previous work in the nonprofit sector, Roxanne understands that providing service can cause providers to experience stress, vicarious trauma, and burnout. She focuses on sharing practices, such as those learned through CMBM’s Mind-Body Skills Groups, to promote institutional resilience and well-being while also improving people’s perspective on self-care.
With a degree in Natural Health, Roxanne has always thrived on helping people feel their best. She has been a practicing Massage Therapist since 2005 and has increased her care kit to include many other modalities such as Energy Healing, Integrative Nutrition, and Qigong. Earning her certification in Mind-Body medicine from CMBM was the catalyst that brought her two worlds together and gave her the courage to reach a wider audience. Roxanne is a champion of CMBM’s work and is dedicated to empowering everyone to play a more intentional part in their own health and well-being.
