Sarah is a physician, clinician educator, somatic-based therapist, multimedia dance artist and movement educator based in Toronto/Tkaronto, Canada. She has specialized training in Narrative Medicine, Sports & Exercise Medicine, Internal Family Systems Therapy, Emotion-Focused Mindfulness Based Therapy, yoga, martial arts and dance. Sarah is an Assistant Professor with the Department of Family & Community Medicine at the University of Toronto and the Temerty Faculty of Medicine Medical Education Health Humanities Theme Lead where she directs the Health, Arts and Humanities Program.
Sarah divides her time between her clinical, education, movement and artistic practice communities while sourcing clear inspiration and heart as a mother. She has endless curiosity and creative energy for the complexities of human life. Her free time is abundantly filled with a variety of interests that keep things fresh but grounded.
