This week, our Founder and CEO, James Gordon, MD, and CMBM Faculty Member Lilita Matison, LCSW, were in Leszno, Poland sharing #MindBody approaches with hundreds of professionals serving the people of Ukraine, including those currently displaced around the world. The International Training and Science Conference: “In search of truth and humanity in the age of war” brought together educators, psychologists, psychiatrists, and social workers from four continents. The six-day event served as an act of solidarity with Ukrainian psychiatrists and psychotherapists—more than 150 of whom were in attendance.
We are grateful for the leadership of psychiatrist Dr. Ewa Dobiała, who organized the conference in collaboration with colleagues and partners and invited us to present. We continue to be humbled by the incredible resilience and resolve of the professionals creating opportunities for healing, even as the war rages on.
