A Mindfulness Experience with Dr. Misha Kogan & Tatiana Znayenko-Miller
In this “Mindfulness Experience” from Spring 2021, CMBM Staff Tatiana Znayenko-Miller, MS, DrPH Candidate led a mind-body practice known as “Three Drawings.” She and Mikhail “Misha” Kogan, MD, Founder and Executive Director of AIM Health Institute and Medical Director of the GW Center for Integrative Medicine, shared the exercise with a small group of participants.
The Three Drawings is a practice enables you to tap into your intuition, and it is a core early exercise in skills groups at the Center for Mind-Body Medicine. Mind-body skills groups provide models and support for relieving stress, relieving trauma, and augmenting resilience by mobilizing social engagement as a way towards healing.
Tatiana begins this mind-body practice at 19:49 in the video. To participate, you’ll need three pieces of paper and something to draw with, write with, or color with.
