Support our work in Iran and the Farsi-speaking diaspora
With your support, we’re equipping professionals in Iran and the Farsi-speaking diaspora with culturally relevant, evidence-based tools to heal population-wide trauma. Donations made through this form will be designated for our Farsi-Speaking Scholarship project.
Together, we can transform trauma
We are grateful to be the official charity partner of #CookForIran, a global movement co-founded by Layla Yarjani, Omid Scheybani, Gemma Bell, Piers Zangana, and Clerkenwell Boy. Through dinners, restaurants, and the contributions of chefs, #CookForIran is raising funds to support the scaling of our Farsi-Speaking Scholarship project during this time of extraordinary need.
Our Farsi-language training initiative was inspired and has been led by CMBM Iranian-American Faculty Noshene Ranjbar, MD, and Shahine Tavakoli, LPC, LMFT. Thanks to their efforts, we have trained 80 Farsi-speaking professionals, including 50 who completed our Advanded Training Program in Mind-Body Medicine. 30 trained facilitators are now leading groups in their communities, serving 700 people so far.
Just as many little girls in the Middle East, I grow in a very harsh situation. I’ve experienced war… I wish there had been people who could help me to pass those days easier… CMBM has made it possible now. Thanks to them, we have gained the power to pass through.
