Edwina’s Lakota Indian name is “Kla Kla Win” Rattling Woman – a name given to her to carry on her relative’s honor of their original landowner allotment.
Edwina is passionate about her current career of partnering with tribal schools on the Oglala Sioux Tribe, including her work of “Creating Trauma Informed and Culturally Informed Schools” on the Pine Ridge Indian Reservation. She is also actively involved with the Heart of Living Yoga UK to create an Otakuyekiciyapi, “Be A Good Relative Partnership”, for the people of the Oglala Sioux Tribe. She is currently working on her candidacy to be a Cultural Psychologist, and one (1) professional licensure for Licensed Addictions Counselor.
She believes her greatest contribution to her relatives on the Oglala Sioux Tribe is to be a resource through teaching self-care, resilience, and HOPE.
